Rawabit is an online platform where job seekers and companies can find each other. We are not an employer or recruitment agency, and we are not a party to any agreement, interview or hiring decision between users.

Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account or using Rawabit, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how we handle your personal data. If you don't agree, please don't use Rawabit.

Accounts & eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• The information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
• Keep your login details secure and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse of your account. You are responsible for activity under your account, unless it results from our own failure.
• Each person may have one account. You can use it as a job seeker and also create a company profile through "Become a company". By creating a company profile, you confirm that you are authorised to act on behalf of that company, and the company is bound by these Terms.
• You may not use Rawabit if you, or the company you represent, are subject to sanctions under EU or UN law or appear on a sanctions list.

Job seekers

You can apply directly to job postings, or create a candidate listing so companies can find and contact you. You decide whether your candidate listing is visible and can change this at any time in your settings. When your listing is visible, companies can see your skills, experience and CV to assess whether to reach out — your name and other identifying details stay hidden until you choose to respond to a company that has expressed interest.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, CV and anything you share with companies. Rawabit does not guarantee that you will receive job offers, interviews or any particular outcome.

Important: legitimate employers on Rawabit will never ask you to pay money to apply, or to pay for training, visas, uniforms or equipment before you start. If a company asks you to pay, don't pay and report it to us.

Companies

Job postings. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of every job you post, including the role, requirements, location and any salary information. Job postings must:

• describe a real, currently available position at your company or a client you are authorised to recruit for
• comply with the employment laws of the country where the job is located
• not discriminate on grounds such as religion, ethnicity, gender or disability, except where legally permitted for the role
• not ask applicants for any payment
• not involve illegal work, forced labour, child labour or human trafficking

Postings that break these rules may be removed and the account may be suspended.

Candidate data. Personal data you receive through Rawabit, such as CVs and messages, may only be used to recruit for the position the candidate applied to or for genuinely comparable roles. You may not sell, share or publish it, and you must delete it when you no longer need it for recruitment. You are responsible for handling this data in line with applicable data protection law. Do not ask candidates for copies of identity documents or sensitive information unless it is legally required for the hiring process.

Fees & payments

Rawabit is currently free to use, including posting jobs and creating a candidate listing. If we introduce paid features, prices (including applicable taxes) will be shown clearly before you confirm a purchase, and we will add the conditions for those features to these Terms before they become available. If a feature that is currently free becomes paid, we will tell you in advance.

Search results & matching

Job postings and candidate listings are ordered based on how well they match your search and filters, how recently they were posted, and profile completeness. Job alerts and suggestions are generated automatically based on your profile and preferences. These are suggestions only; companies and job seekers make their own decisions. If we introduce paid promotion, promoted content will always be clearly labelled.

Messaging & conduct

Chat on Rawabit is for genuine communication between job seekers and companies about real opportunities. You may not use it to send spam, advertising, or content unrelated to hiring, or to share other people's personal data without their permission. Harassment, threats, discrimination and abusive language are not tolerated.

Reviews & ratings

After an application process ends, the job seeker and the company involved may rate each other. Only users who actually took part in that application process can leave a review.

Reviews must reflect your own genuine experience. Fake reviews, reviews of yourself, paid or incentivised reviews, and reviews used as threats or retaliation are not allowed. We don't edit reviews, but we may remove a review if it breaks these Terms or the law. If you believe a review about you is unfair or false, you can report it.

Prohibited use

You may not:

• impersonate another person or company
• post fake jobs, candidate listings or reviews
• use Rawabit to collect personal data for purposes unrelated to hiring
• scrape, copy or download content from Rawabit using bots or other automated means
• attempt to bypass any security measure or interfere with the platform
• use Rawabit for any unlawful purpose

Reporting & moderation

Reporting. Anyone, including people without an account, can report content they believe is illegal or breaks these Terms. You can use the report button on profiles, job postings, reviews and conversations, or email us. Please explain why you are reporting it.

How we decide. We review reports carefully and objectively. We may use automated tools to detect spam and fraud, but decisions to suspend or ban accounts are made by people. Our measures are proportionate to the violation and may include removing content, limiting its visibility, a warning, a temporary suspension, or permanent termination of the account. We take into account how serious the violation is, whether it was repeated, and whether it was intentional.

Explanation and appeal. If we take action against your content or account, we will tell you what we did and why, unless the law prevents us or it concerns obvious spam or fraud. If you disagree, you can appeal within 6 months by replying to our notification or emailing us. We will review your appeal and tell you the outcome.

In urgent cases, for example suspected fraud or a risk to someone's safety, we may act immediately and explain afterwards.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you upload, such as your CV, photos, job descriptions and messages. You confirm that you have the right to share it.

By posting content on Rawabit, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display and process it as needed to operate Rawabit, for example showing your CV to a company you applied to or letting you share a job posting on social media. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content already shared with other users at your request (such as sent applications), copies in backups for a limited time, and data we are legally required to keep.

Our platform

The Rawabit name, logo, design and software belong to us. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or reuse them without our written permission.

No identity verification & your safety

Rawabit does not verify the identity of job seekers or companies. We ask users to provide accurate information, and suspicious accounts can be reported, but you should use your own judgment. In particular:

• be careful before sharing sensitive personal information or documents
• meet in a public place if you meet someone in person for the first time
• never pay money to a company in order to get a job

Availability & changes to the platform

We work to keep Rawabit available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance and change, add or remove features. We will tell you in advance about changes that significantly affect how you use Rawabit.

Liability

• Rawabit is not responsible for the content users post or for agreements, disputes or losses between job seekers and companies. We do act on reports of illegal or harmful content.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost income or missed opportunities.
• Our total liability to you is limited to the higher of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or €100.
• These limitations do not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, to death or personal injury, or where the law does not allow liability to be limited.
• Companies are responsible for, and will compensate us for, claims by third parties arising from their job postings or their use of candidate data in breach of these Terms.

Suspension & termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. This removes your profile and personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these Terms, as described above under "Reporting & moderation". We may also end your account for other reasons, for example if we stop offering Rawabit, with at least 30 days' notice.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Rawabit evolves. We will notify you of important changes by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before the changes apply. Changes required by law, or that don't affect you negatively, may apply immediately.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. If you use Rawabit as a private individual, you keep any protection given to you by mandatory law in your country of residence.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to solve it together. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. If you are a private individual, you may also bring a claim in your own country where the law allows this.

Other provisions

• Language: these Terms are available in Arabic and English. If the versions differ, the English version applies, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
• Severability: if any part of these Terms is invalid, the rest remains in effect.
• Contact point: users and authorities can contact us at , in English or Arabic.
